Explanation
ALLAH is Al-Qawiyy, The One whose strength is supreme, The One who possesses unlimited strength and endurance, The One whose vigor and strength prevail over all of creation.
Al-Qawiyy is The One who is beyond all weakness and The One whose strength is inexhaustible.
There are numerous Arabic connotations of the root word qaf-waw-ya such as to be strong, vigorous, potent, to be robust, hardy, sturdy, to have sufficient strength or power, and to prevail over.

[They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right – only because they say, “Our Lord is Allah .” And were it not that Allah checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allah is much mentioned. And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. (Quran 22:40)
They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. (Quran 22:74)
Allah is Subtle with His servants; He gives provisions to whom He wills. And He is the Powerful, the Exalted in Might. (Quran 42:19)
We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidence and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. (Quran 57:25)
