Explanation
Al-Aziz is the most powerful and mighty. He is the conqueror who is never defeated or harmed. This is due to His overwhelming strength, glory, and power, which cannot be overcome or resisted. He is the one and only who has full authority over the whole universe.
The Arabic word ayn-zay-zay, which has the meanings of “mighty, potent, strong, powerful,” “high, elevated, noble, exalted,” and “honorable, noble,” comes from this root., glorious, illustrious to be indomitable, invincible to be respected, cherished, dear to be scarce, rare, precious, and unattainable.
ALLAH سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ name, Al-Aziz, has several meanings (Al-Azeez). Common translations include The Almighty, The Mighty One, and The Eminent One. The word Azeez is derived from the Arabic word izzat, which means honor and nobility.
This great name of ALLAH سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ appears approximately 90 times in the Qur’an. It is frequently used in conjunction with other names, such as Al-Aziz Al-Rahim, Al-Aziz Al-Hakeem, Al-Aziz Al-Ghaffar, or Al-Aziz Al-Wahhab. The pairing of names frequently conveys an additional layer; we learn something new about Allah that we would often overlook if we studied these names separately.
ALLAH سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ has power, and He can subdue anyone who opposes Him. He is always merciful. “My mercy outweighs My wrath.” He does not rush to punish those who sin, but instead gives them time to repent. Even when He punishes transgressors, He is merciful. These meanings are said to be divinely designed, with perfection in meaning.
The name Al- Aziz reflects ALLAH سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ attribute of supreme power and might. This name reminds believers that ALLAH سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ is the most powerful and that we should always seek help and protection from Him. ALLAH سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ power is moderated by His mercy and compassion.

It is He who forms you in the wombs however He wills. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (Quran 3:6)
Rather, Allāh raised him to Himself. And ever is Allāh Exalted in Might and Wise. (Quran 4:158)
It will matter little if you do not help the Prophet, for Allah surely helped him when the unbelievers drove him out of his home and he was but one of the two when they were in the cave, and when he said to his companion: “Do not grieve. Allah is with us.” Then Allah caused His tranquillity to descend upon him and supported him with hosts you did not see, He humbled the word of the unbelievers. As for Allah’s Word, it is inherently uppermost. Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise. (Quran 9:40)
And to Allāh belong the soldiers of the heavens and the earth. And ever is Allāh Exalted in Might and Wise. (Quran 48:7)
He is Allah: there is no god but He: the King, the Holy, the All-Peace, the Giver of security, the Overseer, the Most Mighty, the Overpowering, the All-Great. Exalted be He from whatever they associate with Him.
