Explanation
Al-Fattaah is the name of ALLAH سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ. Al-Fattah comes from the Arabic word “Fataha, which means”The Success Granter, The Revealer, And The Opener. He is the one who makes all blessings available to His servants. Al-Fattaah decides what should be unlocked, from unlocking doorways to sustenance to unlocking hearts, clarifying visions, and opening doors to cities to conquest and knowledge!
The word “fattah” derives from the root “faa-taa-haa,” which denotes four different meanings. Opening, unlocking, revealing, and making plain are the three main meanings. Making one successful is the second primary meaning, followed by judging or making a decision. Permitting or granting is the fourth major meaning.
Eight derived versions of this root are found 38 times in the Quran. Fatahnaa (“We opened”), al-fathu (“the victory”), and mafaatihu (“[are the] keys”) are a few examples of these forms.Al-faatih is someone who expands, and fattaah has an intensified grammar structure. In both literal and symbolic, physical and spiritual senses, Al-Fattaah is the ultimate judge who makes the decision to open gates that no one else can open. He is also the source of success and triumph.
As well as allowing both believers and non-believers access to His trials, ALLAH سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ also unlocks those doors. He might let us have fame, money, or authority just to see how we react. Others He may remove it from. Additionally, it is he who unlocks the gate of mercy. Abu Huraira reported the Messenger of ALLAH (ﷺ) as saying: When it is the month of Ramadan, the gates of mercy are opened, and the gates of Hell are locked and the devils are chained. (Sahih Muslim 1079b)
The only one who can open the door to recovery when you are sick is Al-Fattaah. Al-Fattaah is the one who opens the Gates of Paradise, the one who helps cities be “opened” (conquered) to Islam, and the one who opens doors to solutions to your life’s problems. If Al-Fattaah wills, He opens for you the gates of sustenance and provision, employment, marriage, and tranquility, and serenity of mind. Both the gate of success and the gate of good acts are opened to you by Him.
